La Familia del Paso is a non-profit organization committed to providing comprehensive mental and behavioral health services for children five years and older, as well as adults. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for our consumers by providing professional and compassion-led support. Explore the wide range of services we offer below.

At La Familia del Paso, we recognize that there can be numerous obstacles for individuals seeking mental health services. That's why we are committed to going above and beyond to ensure you receive the care you deserve. We provide:
Transportation Services
Our committed transportation team provides reliable rides to and from appointments.
Night & Weekend Clinic
To accommodate families and individuals requiring flexible scheduling, our healthcare team offers an evening every Thursday through 8 PM. We also provide Saturday clinic hours and flexible rehabilitative services during the weekend.
Walk-Ins Welcome
We understand that mental health emergencies can arise, which is why we accept walk-ins for urgent situations.
In Home/In-Community Care
For consumers who may have difficulty visiting our clinics or prefer a more comfortable setting, our rehabilitative specialists offer appointment services either at home or in another community location.
Pharmacy Support
Qualifying consumers may benefit from our onsite partner pharmacy to receive medication at a discounted or no-cost price (insurance adjustments considered). Our dedicated Consumer Medication Coordinator is committed to assisting each consumer with the cost process.
Psychiatric Rehabilitation

Our psychiatric team includes dedicated Nurse Practitioners and certified Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP). Our team delivers extensive mental health services within our community including evaluation and diagnosis, medication prescription and management, and rehabilitative treatment. These services, often referred to as Intensive Community Treatment (ICT) or Psychiatric Rehabilitation take place in the consumer's home or their preferred community setting apart from Nurse Practitioner care. ICT/Psychiatric Rehabilitation focuses on supporting individuals with mental health conditions and intellectual disabilities. These conditions range anywhere from Anxiety, ADD/ADHD, to Schizophrenia. Intellectual disabilities include Autism and Down Syndrome among other diagnosis'. Through this specialized treatment, individuals experience improved functioning and overall well-being. We provide flexible locations for Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services. In addition to our Central El Paso, Horizon, and San Antonio Clinic locations, we provide in-community services to accommodate individual needs.
Adult Day Treatment Program
The Adult Day Treatment Program assists adults with mental and behavioral health support and is designed to maintain the active and social daily life of our consumers. This program is open to anyone who is seeking a structured setting for themselves or their loved one. Within the Adult Day Treatment Program, we specialize in working with transitioning teenagers into adulthood ranging in ages of 23-30 in addition to those with an intellectual disability. We welcome adults 18+. The program consists of:

Work Assistance (when applicable)
Our Adult Day Program operates from our 5016 Alameda and from our Horizon Clinic.

The Clubhouse
La Familia del Paso Clubhouse was established in 1988 by a dedicated group of community members looking for a safe haven for healing and connection, away from societal stigma. The name of our organization honors the founding members' original name for the clubhouse and embodies the spirit of our mission. Today, we continue to welcome anyone experiencing mental health challenges or navigating intellectual disabilities. Here, you will find a vibrant space for community, healing, and enjoyment.
